My Lord, expand for me my chest [with assurance] and ease for me my task.” (Surah Taha: 25-26)
Mukhlis Unani Dawakhana stands as a beacon of hope and healing, rooted in a noble mission to serve humanity through the timeless wisdom of Unani medicine. Founded in 1929 by Hakeem Muhammad Latif Sahib, the journey began with a pure intention to alleviate human suffering. Hakeem Sahib pursued his degree in Tibb from Punjab University, Lahore, and officially registered the practice in 1934. The foundation of this institution was laid in Lahore, Pakistan, as a center of both scientific and spiritual healing.

Hakeem Muhammad Latif Sahib drew immense spiritual guidance and blessings from his revered mentor, Hazrat Khawaja Peer Syed Faiz Muhammad Shah Sahib Naqshbandi Mujaddedi Bukhari Qandhari (R.A), whose shrine resides in Tandlianwala, Punjab, Pakistan. Honored with the spiritual title of Khilafat by his mentor, Hakeem Sahib devoted his life to this sacred calling. Known affectionately as “Hakeem Thatha” throughout Pakistan due to his eloquent manner of speaking, he dedicated 59 years of his life to Tibb and the service of humanity before passing away in 1988. Today, his shrine rests near his spiritual guide in Tandlianwala, continuing to be a source of inspiration and blessings.

Together, they elevated Mukhlis Unani Dawakhana to remarkable heights. After his father’s passing, Hakeem Abdul Ghafoor Sahib continued this noble journey until his own demise in 1988.
